Finding Animal Tracks

A couple of months ago, we took the kids for a walk through the research area. We were looking for evidence and teaching the kids about things to look for. We found some interesting things along the walk.

While we were out, we had the opportunity to teach Tbomb and Snapper about animal tracks. Deer, boar, raccoon, and turkey tracks were found along the way!

Looking for Bigfoot and Learning about Nature

We live out in the country and are blessed to be surrounded by wilderness. Not only does this lend itself to bigfoot hunting, but it makes nature lovers out of the kids. We take every opportunity possible to teach about nature. Bigfoot is just another way to add to this! Here are some of the lessons we have had just in everyday living!

When It All Started

June 1, 2013, the George adults started Carolina Cryptid Crew as a side team to the paranormal group they were all members of. Snapper wasn't born yet, but as time went along, Tbomb became more and more involved in helping to look for evidence. He was almost 3. By the time Snapper was born that September, he was really having fun with it.

Fast forward a year, and he asked for a Bigfoot Birthday Party. We knew he was hooked. For his 4th birthday (and Snapper's 1st), we threw a Bigfoot party and he loved it. By that time, he was all in and it has only grown since then!
